I've hit the GemLoad!

Waiting today for my shipment of gems was pretty painful. Every car sounded like the UPS guy.

But I managed to pass the time.

There's so many things I'm not going to list them all here, but I'm so excited to work with these new rocks! Hopefully I can make something cool happen with some of them and share them on Etsy.

Gem Feature: Aquamarine!

This week I was feeling drawn to a piece of Aquamarine I had shaped. The salty, seawater blue's look awesome, but I wanted to find more about the mystical heritage of the stone.

I found that Aquamarine was used a long time ago by sailors to protect them from illness on their long voyages.

Like Most crystals, this is said to help alleviate stress and divert negative energy through meditation. 

Some added bonus' are that it can help heighten and clarify communication on the spiritual level, help's wherever courage may be needed, and brings an overall clarity and humbleness to your daily approach.

 

Trades

Last weekend some friends brought this bad boy back from the west coast for me to open up. 

For them we had a lovely agate that I shaped into a tiny cathedral, and a small moonstone

Neither of us knew what the other was going to give.

So you can imagine how blown away we were when we both gave each other rocks . /. /

But I guess that's just how it goes when you love Gemz!

Vibrations are real right? Colors are real, and lots of things are out of our physical range of senses. Yet we believe they are there. All these things compose and affect our daily lives in way's we're unaware of. 

That's what got me interested in Gems. 

 I bought a machine so I could make things I like out of gems, and share them with other people who like might like them also.
